We are in the process of closing our shop in Kildare Town, Ireland as my wife, Anne, is retiring. So we're having a stock clearance sale.
It occurred to me that these little signs might appeal to some of my fellow #ActuallyAutistic folks. Currently 25% off, but if you wait until tomorrow, 40% off.
Can only post within Ireland, sorry.
Boosts much appreciated.

Review of "Looking After Your Autistic Self" by @niamhgarvey
I got this book a few days ago and read it in about 8 hours (with breaks) yesterday.
Niamh is from Cork, Ireland, where she still lives. She has excellent credentials as a former nurse who, upon discovering that her daughter was autistic, made it her business to learn as much as she could about autism, ultimately realising (as is often the case) that she, too, is autistic. She went on to study for a diploma in autism.
So Niamh has the medical, parenting and academic background together with the "lived experience" of being autistic. Ticks all the boxes for me. Too good to be true? Actually, no. She comes across as genuine, sincere and down-to-earth. She is candid about her personal experiences and when making general points and assertions, she backs these up with citations, which is both good academic discipline and reassuring.
The book is an easy read (which in no way detracts from its contents). Each chapter starts with a contents page and bullet-point summary. At the end of each chapter is a similar summary. The layout of the chapters is logical and leads the reader through the subjects.
I'm encouraging my autistic son (20) to read it. I've also suggested to my allistic wife that she read it as an operating manual for the family.
Far out! Brian Tamaki was there to support the TERF but 2,000 turned up for the LGBTQIA+ community.
Parker was drowned out by the happy noises, drums and a siren and "pelted with paint". The Police escorted her away and she didn't get to speak a single word.
Well done Auckland!
